Las Vegas Homes for SaleThere are over 12,000 Las Vegas homes for sale and hundreds of new home models from which to choose. Select from a variety of single-family homes or a vast selection of condos, townhomes and condo conversions. Unlike most other cities, average resale homes in recent years are less than 5 years of age. The reason? Over 5,000 people move to Las Vegas every year, and have done so over the last decade. This explosion in growth has resulted in a building boom. Many national builders have set up operations in Clark County and are continually developing new neighborhoods. So if you're looking for a brand new home, you will find over 1,500 new home models on display. New homes for sale are generally found around the perimeter of the city, while the resale market is spread more evenly throughout the valley. Homes for sale in Las VegasHomes are located in:
In spite of the large selection of inventory, searching for homes can be a daunting task. Map-makers are faced with the challenge of adding new streets every week and most do not rise to that challenge. So if you're looking for a new home in the north end, for example, chances are that you will be driving on streets that are not indicated on even the most recent road maps. For Sale signs on lawns can also be misleading. Properties in this market often sell before the sign company has had a chance to erect a sign. If you do spot a sign and phone the listing agent, there is a strong likelyhood that the property has already sold and the agent just hasn't gotten around to placing a "sold" placard on the sign or hasn't removed the sign. Wonder why? You called, didn't you. Classified Ads: to read or not to read? It's always nice to look at pictures of homes for sale. Grocery stores have racks full of realtors' magazines advertising homes, complete with pictures and compelling descriptions. What these ads are lacking are property addresses. After all, you just want to drive by and check out the neighborhood. I guess you will have to call the realtor for more information... get the picture? Even after calling, you will find that volunteered addresses are as scarce as hen's teeth; the realtor wants your name and address and wants to set an appointment. In actual fact most of the listings (the good ones), although current at the time the ad went to the printer, have already sold by the time the magazine hits the racks. So in ConclusionThe only way to search for Las Vegas homes for sale is by engaging the services of a buyers agent... a realtor who will do the searching on your behalf and will help step you through the entire process from search to closing a deal.
